K-12 Full Immersion Fun

Course Description (for students K-12)

A one hour session gathering a mix of students of any age. This differs from the “Activity Based Hour” in that no particular curriculum is followed but a succession of games and fun activities are used to introduce or reinforce basic elements of the language.

As students play, they are encouraged to interact only in French to play the game, as well as to talk about their day. This informal setting allows the teacher to introduce French in the daily lives of students, according to their language abilities, using peers to teach each other new vocabulary, French idioms and everyday life sayings: all through fun!

Student Profile

Any student with no French background willing to get a feel for French before deciding if they'd like to study it. Students with some knowledge of French willing to practice their French in an open environment (no curriculum restriction) in order to become more confident in their use of oral French.
