Description & Schedule


Current classes offered for Spring 2017 semester

Note:  A Class by Level can be taken by itself, but is designed to be taken with its corresponding Workshop, offered at half price.

Level 1 children

Classes provide a full immersion experience, introduced progressively, through a conversational approach.  Students learn how to introduce themselves and others, describe someone, talk to others and question them about school and hobbies.  As they do so, they learn the basics of grammar and vocabulary needed for a long term use of the language.  

Monday 5:30-6:30pm  for session schedule, see calendar.

Corresponding Workshop = Teens Practice 1: Wednesday 5:30-6:30pm

Level 1 Adult

Classes provide a full immersion experience through a conversational approach. 

We continue to provide a methodical learning and practice of fundamental knowledge for basic communication skills. Students learn how to communicate their needs, likes, and wishes as well as how to understand one's statements and questions related to daily life. 

Students become progressively confident in their talking and listening abilities. 

Their written skills are addressed in parallel with their oral skills.

Tuesday 6:30-7:30pm for session schedule, see calendar.

Corresponding Workshop = Teen Practice: Wednesday 5:30-6:30pm

or Class by Level for French speakers: Wednesday 4:30-5:30pm

or Matinées (for 1hr or more):              Mon-Thurs 9:00-12:00pm

Level 2 Adult 

Classes provide a full immersion experience through a conversational approach.

Practice of conversation on everyday life and French culture-related topics in order to progressively gain fluency. We continue to reinforce the use of accurate grammatical structures.
